Let us hold high the lamp of service for the welfare of our hospitals and health facilities.
The United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW Inc
Since 1933 the United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW, through local member branches, have been responding to the needs of health facilities and community health facilities throughout NSW.
Our objectives
To co-ordinate and extend the work of the Hospital Auxiliaries connected with public hospitals, health centres, rehabilitation and any other similar centre within New South Wales and to work in harmony and co-operation with the hospital management concerned and with the NSW Health Department.
To increase general interest in health care by forming groups of voluntary workers to work for hospitals and other health care centres.
To assist the welfare of patients and staff at all hospitals and health care centres within the state of New South Wales by providing all kinds of services to those hospitals and assist in fundraising and advice to auxiliaries operating in and about those hospitals and health care centres.
The United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW Inc. is a Registered Charity
CFN 11058 and we are proud for all our member branches to display the ACNC Charity Logo for all our fundraising endeavours. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.
Our 167 branches within the twelve regions of NSW (Central West, Hunter, Illawarra, Metropolitan, Murray, New England, North Eastern, North Coast, Orana Far West, Riverina, South Eastern, and Western Metropolitan) raise funds autonomously for their local Health Service for the benefit of patient comfort and care. Fundraising includes donations, fetes, cafes, gift shops and kiosks, raffles, street stalls, bingo, book fairs, trolley services, etc. All funds raised are used locally, no commissions are paid for fundraising.
